Duplicate items
Put the item that you want to duplicatein your sixth item slot. Then go to the old man that teaches you how to catch Pokemon in Viridian city and he will ask you if you know how to catch Pokemon say no .After he catches the Pokemon fly to Cinnabar island and surf up and down the coast on the East side of the island, half way in the water and half way on land. Do this until you find Missingo the glitch Pokemon then run from him DO NOT CATCH HIM he can mess up your game. Then look at your sixth item slot and you should have 99 of that item.
Change color scheme
If you would like to change the color scheme of your Red or Blue version follow these instruction. Turn on your gameboy, press B and then press Up,or Down,or Left,or Right. You have to do this realy fast, you can get the colors blue,red,green,yellow,black,and neon.
Faster credits
An easy but helpful tip is when the credits are on, hold down B and the credits should speed up.
Stand on a tree
To stand on a tree cut down a tree and then stand where it was then save your game. Now reset your game you should be standing on a tree.
Get Mew this works 100%
This is the real cheat for you to get mew. At first, don't fight the YOUNGSTER with a slowpoke. He is the fifth person on the way to Bill's house after the Nugget Bridge. He is facing north. Also don't battle the Gambler with Poliwag and Poliwhirl at lv22. He stays in front of the underground path between Lavender and Celadon city. One of your pokemon must know fly. First thing to do is go in front of the underground path I mentioned. Don't move and save the game. Make one step forward and immediately press start. Fly to Cerulean City. The Gambler should notice you. The symbol ! should appear on his head. The start menu should not work. Now go to nugget bridge and fight the Youngster I'm talking about. Let him see and walk to you. Defeat him. The start menu will work again. Then fly to Lavender City. Go west. As you enter the narrow path on the way, the menu will pop up by itself. Press B and MEW LV7 will appear.
